How long does it take to check traffic violations?

Traffic violations can generally be checked within 2 to 5 working days, with a maximum of 13 working days. The relevant regulations are as follows: 1. Verbally inform the violator of the basic facts of the violation; 2. Listen to the violator's statements and defenses, and if the facts, reasons, or evidence provided by the violator are valid, they should be adopted; 3. Prepare a violation notice and notify the party to accept processing within fifteen days; 4. The violation notice must be signed by the violator and the traffic police officer or stamped, and bear the seal of the traffic management department of the public security authority. If the party refuses to sign, the traffic police officer shall note this on the violation notice; 5. The violation notice shall be delivered to the party on the spot. If the party refuses to accept it, the traffic police officer shall note this on the violation notice, which shall then be considered as served.
