Add water slowly: Since the water jacket and radiator are at high temperatures when the engine is hot, adding water too quickly can cause the cooling water to evaporate and vaporize rapidly, creating vapor lock. This suddenly increases the steam pressure in the system, leading to a secondary water spray accident. Therefore, when adding water, use a thin stream to add slowly. Only after no large amount of hot air is escaping from the radiator port should you gradually increase the filling speed.
