I'm an owner of the Ora R1 and have been driving it for almost a year. When fully charged, the official range is 351 kilometers, but that's under ideal test conditions. In actual city driving, if I drive steadily, I can get around 280 to 300 kilometers. With air conditioning or heating on, it drops to about 250 kilometers. On the highway, due to higher speeds and greater wind resistance, the range drops significantly to around 240 kilometers. I remember once on a long trip, I started with a full charge and got a battery warning after about 250 kilometers. There are many factors affecting range: low temperatures reduce battery efficiency, cutting winter range by about 10%, and using AC in summer has a similar effect. I usually drive in eco mode, accelerating gently and avoiding sudden braking, which helps save some power. For daily commuting, charging once a week is sufficient, and fast charging for 30 minutes can replenish about 80% of the battery, which is quite convenient. Overall, the car's range is adequate for daily use, but don't expect it to always reach the full advertised range.

How to Read a Digital Tire Pressure Gauge?

The method for reading a digital tire pressure gauge is: 1. The first ring on the digital tire pressure gauge displays the imperial unit, pounds per square inch (psi); 2. The other ring shows the metric unit, kilograms per square centimeter (kg/cm²); 3. Simply observe where the pointer is indicating. The functions of tire pressure monitoring are: 1. It alerts promptly in case of rapid or slow air leakage when the tire is punctured; 2. It warns when tire loosening causes uneven friction, leading to tire temperatures reaching 70 degrees Celsius to prevent blowouts; 3. It alerts when the tire pressure falls below the vehicle's preset limit due to prolonged lack of inflation, preventing low pressure from causing tire temperature rise and subsequent blowouts.

What are the reasons for low car idle speed?

The reasons for low car idle speed are: 1. Oil accumulation or carbon buildup in the throttle valve; 2. Dirty intake manifold; 3. Weak spark due to faulty spark plugs; 4. Malfunctioning idle control valve; 5. Poor atomization or clogging of the fuel injector; 6. Changes in oil viscosity. The solutions for low car idle speed are: 1. Check for oil accumulation or carbon buildup in the throttle valve; 2. Clean the intake manifold; 3. Inspect the working condition of the spark plugs; 4. Check if the idle control valve is malfunctioning; 5. Examine the fuel injector for any issues; 6. Replace the engine oil promptly. The reasons for high car idle speed are: 1. Idle switch not closing; 2. Faulty idle control valve; 3. Air leakage in the intake pipe; 4. Incorrect valve timing; 5. Fuel injector dripping or clogging; 6. Blocked exhaust system; 7. EGR valve opening during idle conditions.

What is the difference between high-power and low-power 2.0T engines?

The differences between high-power and low-power 2.0T engines are: 1. High-power engines are primarily optimized for performance, while low-power engines focus on fuel efficiency and cost reduction; 2. Different performance levels are achieved by adjusting ECU data, combined with variations in vehicle configurations, to realize different positioning for the entire vehicle. Since turbocharged engines can control the turbocharger via the ECU to achieve different boost pressures, it is relatively simple to reduce power by lowering the boost pressure. The main components of an engine include: 1. Valve train; 2. Crankshaft and connecting rod mechanism; 3. Ignition system; 4. Cooling system; 5. Lubrication system; 6. Starting system; 7. Fuel supply system.

How to Deal with Fogging on Car Windows?

Press the defogging button, turn on the air conditioning (A/C) switch, set the temperature to the lowest, and turn on the external circulation to remove fog. Both cold and warm air can be used to defog car windows, but warm air works slower than cold air. The most effective method is using cold air, which blows dry cold air directly onto the glass, preventing water vapor from condensing on the glass and achieving defogging. The method for using warm air is the same as cold air, but note that warm air should not be used on rainy days as it may initially worsen the fog. Always use external circulation when defogging car windows. The reasons for fogging on car windows: There is a temperature difference between the inside and outside of the car. If the temperatures inside and outside the car are different, the surface with the lower temperature will have a lower saturated vapor pressure than the surrounding environment, causing water vapor to gather on the glass surface in the form of tiny droplets, forming fog. Methods to defog car windows: Air Conditioning Cooling: Use the air conditioning's cooling and dehumidifying function to reduce air humidity and remove fog. In summer, especially when multiple people enter the car, if the air conditioning is not turned on promptly, the exhaled air with high humidity can quickly cause the windshield to fog up. In this case, turn on the air conditioning and blow cold air onto the windshield. The dehumidifying function of the air conditioning can quickly remove fog. However, if the humidity is too high and the air conditioning is not effective enough, slightly opening the window can quickly reduce the humidity inside the cabin. Combining this with the air conditioning can speed up the process. Air Conditioning Warm Air: Use the method of reducing the temperature difference to remove fog. In winter, blowing warm air onto the windshield can quickly raise its temperature and reduce the temperature difference between the inside and outside surfaces of the window, preventing excessive fogging. Note that the rear and side windows heat up more slowly, so it takes longer to remove fog completely. Whether the air conditioning is automatic or manual, turning it on helps with dehumidification. Avoid setting the temperature to the coldest position, as this can cause frost to form on the outer surface of the windshield over time. Applying Anti-Fog Agents for Prevention: Spray a small amount of anti-fog agent on the car windows and wipe it clean to remove dirt and stains. While polishing the glass, a thin transparent protective film forms, effectively preventing water vapor from condensing and forming fog, especially in cold winters. Alternatives to anti-fog agents include dish soap, soapy water, glycerin, alcohol, or saltwater. After applying, let it dry and then wipe off excess residue with chamois or a soft dry cloth. This can keep the windows fog-free for several days. Opening Windows for Airflow: If the fog inside the car is not heavy, opening the side windows can create airflow between the inside and outside of the car, reducing the temperature difference and gradually eliminating the fog. The principle of this method is the same as using cold air from the air conditioning. However, the downside is obvious: it cannot be used during rain, snow, on highways, or when the fog is heavy. Rear Window Heating: Most cars have a rear window electric heating function. The button location may vary, but the function is the same. Turn on the rear window heating switch, and the fog will disappear in about a minute. Using External Circulation: On rainy days in spring or autumn, opening the windows may not be suitable, and turning on the air conditioning may feel too cold. In this case, turn on the external circulation and adjust the air vent to blow onto the windshield. This quickly lowers the temperature on the inner side of the windshield, making the fog disappear quickly.

Which one is the Crown ignition coil e?

The Crown ignition coil e is the coil on the 4-cylinder. The working principle of the ignition coil is as follows: it repeatedly stores and releases energy at different frequencies according to the engine's varying speeds. When the primary coil is connected to the power source, a magnetic field is generated around it as the current increases, and the iron core stores the magnetic field energy. When the switching device disconnects the primary coil circuit, the magnetic field of the primary coil rapidly decays, inducing a high voltage in the secondary coil. Taking the 2018 Crown as an example, it is a mid-to-large-sized car with the following dimensions: length 5020mm, width 1805mm, height 1480mm, wheelbase 2925mm, minimum ground clearance 140mm, and a curb weight of 1660kg.
