Ethanol gasoline can be stored for one month. It has very high environmental requirements, as it is highly susceptible to water and has a short shelf life. Therefore, the blending, storage, transportation, and sale of ethanol gasoline must be more strictly controlled compared to regular gasoline. Generally, small gas stations do not sell ethanol gasoline. If a small gas station cannot sell it or add it to a vehicle within a month, and if it encounters situations like travel or incomplete combustion, the ethanol gasoline will degrade. Ethanol gasoline is a new alternative fuel made by blending fuel ethanol (processed from grains and various plant fibers) with regular gasoline in a specific ratio. It consists of 90% regular gasoline and 10% fuel ethanol.
