How long before the expiration of the driver's license should it be renewed?

Generally, the renewal procedure should be completed within 3 months before the driver's license expires. When applying, you should fill out the application form and submit the following documents and proofs: the identity proof of the motor vehicle driver; the motor vehicle driver's license; and the medical certificate of physical condition issued by a county-level or above medical institution or a military medical institution at or above the regimental level. Below are the precautions for vehicles that have not undergone annual inspection: 1. Accident liability: For all traffic accidents caused by vehicles that have not undergone annual inspection on time, the party involved shall bear full or primary responsibility, and the insurance company will not bear any responsibility. This is because the insurance policy specifies that vehicles with expired annual inspections are among the objects of claim rejection. 2. Mandatory scrapping: According to the 'Regulations on the Mandatory Scrapping Standards for Motor Vehicles,' motor vehicles that fail to obtain the inspection qualification mark for three consecutive inspection cycles after the expiration of the inspection validity period will be mandatorily scrapped.
