How Long Are the Results of Subject One Valid?

Subject One results are valid for three years. According to the "Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driver's Licenses," the validity period of the driving skill test permit is three years. Applicants must complete Subject Two and Subject Three tests within this validity period. If the tests are not completed within the validity period, the passed subject results will be invalidated. Passing Score for Subject One: The total duration of the Subject One test is 45 minutes. The test paper consists of 100 questions, including true/false and single-choice questions, with a full score of 100 points and a passing score of 90. The test papers are randomly selected and combined by the computer driver test system according to the proportion specified in the "Motor Vehicle Driver's License Work Specifications." Test Process: Follow the staff's instructions to receive your driving training file in order in the waiting area; Carry and present your ID card for inspection by the supervising officer; Mobile phones must be turned off when entering the test area; No loud noises are allowed in the test area; Regulation textbooks are not allowed in the test area (or should be placed in a bag); After the test, keep your ID card safe and submit the file to the "Document Submission Window" at the front of the test area; Candidates who pass the test should sign under the guidance of the staff at the exit of the test area before leaving; Candidates who fail the test can leave the test area and wait for notification from their driving school staff regarding the retake time.
A few days ago, I accompanied my friend to the DMV to ask about this. The passing score for Subject 1 is valid for a full three years. This three-year validity period starts from the day you pass Subject 1, not from the registration date. During this time, you must pass Subjects 2, 3, and 4. If you exceed the time limit, you'll have to retake Subject 1 from scratch. Many people think Subject 1 is the hardest, but actually, the most challenging part is the waiting time for scheduling the exams. My advice is to start practicing driving as soon as you pass the theory test, and ideally complete all the exams within one year. Dragging it out to the third year can create a lot of psychological pressure. Nowadays, the driving test system is fully networked, so for retakes, you can simply swipe your ID card to check the expiration date.
