You can only drive on the highway alone one year after passing the driving test and obtaining your license. The following situations allow you to drive on the highway: 1. If accompanied by a driver who has held a driver's license for the corresponding or higher vehicle type for more than three years, you can drive on the highway immediately after obtaining your license. 2. When driving a small automatic transmission passenger vehicle for the disabled, you can be accompanied by a driver who holds a license for small automatic transmission passenger vehicles or higher. Violators who enter the highway without authorization will be fined 200 yuan according to Article 94, Paragraph 1, Item 2 of the "Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driving Licenses." During the probation period after adding a new vehicle type to your license, driving a vehicle of the original licensed type is not subject to the above restrictions.
