After driving the Roewe RX5 for four years, I must say it's more durable than I expected. When I first got the car, colleagues warned me about domestic cars being prone to rust, but now the chassis shows no signs of rust at all. The biggest surprise is the engine – after 80,000 kilometers, apart from regular maintenance, even the engine mounts haven't needed replacement. However, the infotainment system is a bit laggy, especially slow to start up in winter. I'd recommend opting for the newer Zebra system, which is much smoother. A friend who bought an i5 last year gets just 5.8L/100km fuel consumption, much more economical than my older model. If I had to nitpick, the plastic interior parts develop squeaks after prolonged sun exposure, but the dealership fixed it for free by adding sealing strips. Overall, it's good value for money – I recently recommended my cousin to buy an RX8.
