I just picked up this 1.3T Encore last month and have driven 800 km. Here are my impressions. You can feel slight vibrations when the three-cylinder engine starts, but it's completely unnoticeable while driving. The biggest surprise is the fuel consumption - just over 7L/100km with AC on in city driving. Don't let the small displacement fool you, it accelerates briskly and has plenty of power for overtaking. The 9AT shifts much smoother than my dad's older model. The interior uses quality materials, and the seats offer excellent support, though the rear seat is a bit tight for three adults. The active noise cancellation is particularly practical - even at highway speeds with windows up, tire noise is minimal. The trunk fits a stroller plus luggage perfectly, making it ideal for small families like ours in daily use.
