The working principle of a vehicle's charcoal canister is: after the engine is turned off, gasoline vapors mix with fresh air inside the canister and are stored in the activated charcoal canister. When the engine starts, the electromagnetic valve of the fuel evaporation purification device, installed between the activated charcoal canister and the intake manifold, opens, allowing the gasoline vapors from the activated charcoal canister to be drawn into the intake manifold to participate in combustion. The vehicle's charcoal canister is typically installed between the fuel tank and the engine, and its functions are: to introduce vapors into the combustion process and prevent them from evaporating into the atmosphere. Symptoms of a faulty vehicle charcoal canister include: 1. Engine hesitation when stepping on the accelerator, with a strong gasoline smell inside the car; 2. Engine idling and weak acceleration; 3. Engine stalling or difficulty starting.
