How Does a Parking Sensor Work?
1 Answers
The working principle of a parking sensor is to inform the driver about surrounding obstacles through sound or more intuitive displays, eliminating the hassle of checking front, back, left, and right when parking, reversing, or starting the vehicle. It helps the driver overcome blind spots and unclear vision, thereby enhancing driving safety. A parking sensor consists of a main unit, display, probes, and a buzzer. The probes are installed on the front and rear bumpers of the vehicle to better observe parking distances. The buzzer is an integrated electronic sounder powered by DC voltage, which can be categorized into piezoelectric buzzers and electromagnetic buzzers.
