How Can Illiterate People Obtain a Driver's License?
1 Answers
One must first be literate to obtain a driver's license, at least to the extent of being able to read and understand the questions in the theoretical tests (Subject 1 and Subject 4). Learning the theoretical knowledge of driving motor vehicles and traffic laws and regulations is essential. If the level of literacy is too low, being illiterate makes it impossible to comprehend the theoretical knowledge and traffic laws. Applicants for a motor vehicle driver's license must meet the following requirements: 1. Height: Applicants for large buses, tractors, city buses, large trucks, or trolleybuses must be at least 155 cm tall. Applicants for medium-sized buses must be at least 150 cm tall. 2. Vision: Applicants for large buses, tractors, city buses, medium-sized buses, large trucks, trolleybuses, or trams must have uncorrected or corrected visual acuity of at least 5.0 on the logarithmic visual acuity chart.
