Xinte Auto has not stopped production. Introduction to Xinte Auto: Xinte Auto, established in 2017, entered the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology catalog in July 2018, obtaining the qualification for passenger car production. In the second half of 2018, it launched its first model, the DEV1, positioned as a mini pure electric vehicle with an NEDC range of 305km. By mid-2020, Xinte Auto's second model, the GEV1, was officially released, also a mini electric vehicle with an NEDC range of 305km. Xinte's New DEV Series: On January 20, 2021, Xinte Auto officially reached a strategic cooperation agreement with China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC) and held a seminar in Chongqing. The two parties will explore potential strategic cooperation in product development, supply chain management, production and manufacturing, and sales channels. The first model resulting from this cooperation will be the new DEV series, set to officially launch in the second quarter of this year, with a range of up to 400km. The focus of the cooperation will be on the development of B-end electric vehicles, targeting the ride-hailing market.
As an average consumer, I often follow automotive news and have noticed that Singulato Motors did indeed cease production. This occurred around 2019, primarily due to a broken capital chain and intense market competition. After researching extensively, I found that Singulato had launched some electric vehicle models like the iCh series, which gained initial popularity upon release. However, management and quality issues ultimately led to its downfall. Currently, new vehicles are no longer available in the market, and spare parts supply has become problematic. This makes me, as a consumer, perceive high risks when choosing electric vehicles, and I now prioritize established brands like BYD to avoid after-sales troubles. From a long-term usage perspective, purchasing vehicles from discontinued brands results in rapid depreciation of second-hand value and poses greater safety risks. In conclusion, I recommend everyone to thoroughly research company developments online before making a car purchase.
