Has the Jaguar E-Pace been domestically produced?

Jaguar E-Pace has been domestically produced and belongs to Chery. It is a compact SUV with dimensions of 4411mm in length, 1900mm in width, and 1649mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2681mm. The front suspension uses a MacPherson independent suspension, and the rear suspension uses a multi-link independent suspension. The drivetrain is front-engine four-wheel drive. In terms of power, the Jaguar E-Pace is equipped with two 2.0-liter turbocharged engines, one being a low-power version and the other a high-power version. Both engines are paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission.
Last year, I specifically researched this car. As a Jaguar enthusiast, I've been closely following the development of the E-PACE. Now, this model has indeed been localized, produced by Chery Jaguar Land Rover at their Changshu plant in Jiangsu, sharing the same production line with the Land Rover Discovery Sport. The previous imported version started at around 400,000 RMB, but now the locally produced entry-level price has dropped to just over 280,000 RMB, making it much more affordable. Two of my friends drive the domestic E-PACE—one has driven over 30,000 kilometers and reports very few minor issues, while the other praises its four-wheel-drive system for being exceptionally stable in rain and snow. After localization, the infotainment screen has been upgraded to 11.4 inches, and new features like wireless charging have been added. However, the infotainment system occasionally lags, which is a slight drawback. Overall, Chery's production standards are quite high, with even body panel gaps being uniformly handled, not inferior to the imported version. The only downside is that the rear seat space is still a bit cramped, which might feel tight for family use.
