Has the Haval H5 Been Discontinued?

Haval's Tula plant in Russia officially discontinued production of the Haval H5 model in mid-May. Haval H5 Overview: The Haval H5 is a pure domestic ORV (Off-Road Vehicle) under Great Wall Motors. The 2012 Haval H5 was officially launched at the Changchun Auto Show on July 14, 2012. The 2018 Haval H5 Classic Edition was officially released on August 4, 2017, equipped with Great Wall Motors' self-developed Green Quiet 2.0T diesel engine and a 2.0T gasoline engine, adding popular features such as CarLife smartphone connectivity and DTS sound effects. Haval H5 Powertrain Configuration: Equipped with 2.0T gasoline and diesel engines, with maximum power outputs of 190 horsepower (140kW) and 150 horsepower (110kW) respectively, and peak torques of 250 Nm and 320 Nm. The transmission system is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
I checked the Haval official website and found that the H5 has indeed been discontinued. After the new Haval H5 was launched last year, the old model was directly withdrawn from the market. Now, it's basically impossible to find a new car at 4S stores, and it has been removed from the official website's model list. I remember that during the inventory clearance last year, the diesel version had particularly large discounts. Occasionally, you can find nearly new cars with just a few thousand kilometers on used car platforms. The classic design of the old model is quite appealing, especially the externally mounted spare tire style, which has completely changed in the new model. If you still want the old model, you should hurry to look for a used one, but be aware that rubber parts on a ten-year-old car need replacement, and the initial maintenance could cost a few thousand yuan.
