Honda's oil dilution issue has been resolved. Dongfeng Honda announced: To reduce oil dilution, an ECU upgrade will be performed, and a recall is being prepared. The CR-V will be recalled in late February, followed by the Civic in early March; the oil dipstick markings will be adjusted - the upper and lower limits remain unchanged, with additional markings added to confirm oil increase; furthermore, the user manual will be revised. Dongfeng Honda brake failure issue: Aside from the oil dilution problem, another serious quality issue with the Honda CR-V is brake failure. Based on numerous fault scene photos provided by owners, the vehicle malfunctions are essentially identical: after the fault occurs, various warning lights appear on the dashboard including the vehicle stability system, power steering system, low tire pressure warning light, and brake system warning light.
