GL88 rearview mirror folding button switch?

Buick GL8 rearview mirror, folding to the desired angle is an electric button, usually located at the electric window button position. Below is some information about the GL8 folding feature: 1. Function: Minimize scratches, improve vehicle passability, protect the mirror surface, reduce parking space, and avoid collisions. 2. Central rearview mirror adjustment angle: Align the mirror parallel to the ground line and position the ground line at the center 1/2 of the mirror surface. To ensure clear visibility of the rear road conditions, the mirror can slightly face the driver. 3. Left rearview mirror adjustment: Adjust the car body image to occupy 1/4 of the mirror surface, and the horizon to occupy 1/2 of the mirror surface. This ensures visibility of the following vehicles close to the rear and vehicles from other lanes, aiding driving judgment.
As a long-time GL8 owner, I've operated this many times. On the driver's door armrest area near the window control buttons, there's a rearview mirror adjustment knob. Look at the outermost ring of that knob - you'll see an icon with two mirrors and arrows. Gently rotate the knob all the way in that direction to fold the mirrors. I recommend using this function in tight parking spaces or before automated car washes. Remember not to fold them while driving as it severely obstructs visibility - very dangerous. The button is easy to identify too, its icon is distinctly different from other control buttons.
