The comprehensive fuel consumption of Changan CS55 Plus is 6.4L/100km. Below is extended information about the fuel consumption of Changan CS55 Plus: 1. Reasons for high fuel consumption: Generally, fuel consumption is mainly determined by the user's driving habits. Prolonged idling should be avoided as it consumes a significant amount of fuel. When waiting at traffic lights, you can turn off the engine and engage the handbrake, or use the auto start-stop function. On highways, maintaining a steady speed between 60-90km/h is advisable, with the engine speed kept within a reasonable range of 2500-4000rpm. 2. Methods to improve fuel efficiency: You can add fuel additives (fuel system cleaners) to the fuel tank to enhance combustion and remove carbon deposits. According to statistics, poorly maintained engines can increase fuel consumption by 10% or 20%. A dirty air filter can also lead to a 10% increase in fuel consumption. Regular vehicle inspections and maintenance are recommended. Cleaning or replacing the three filters (air filter, oil filter, and fuel filter) can improve fuel economy and help reduce fuel consumption.

I've been driving my Changan CS55 PLUS for almost a year, mainly in the city, with an average fuel consumption of 8-9 liters per 100 km. It performs better on highways, reaching around 7 liters, and even more economical with cruise control. However, using the air conditioning in summer significantly increases fuel consumption, and it can spike to 10-11 liters in traffic jams. Driving habits make a big difference; gradual acceleration saves much more fuel than sudden acceleration. The 55-liter fuel tank can cover over 600 kilometers when full, and I use an app to record each refueling, which is more accurate than the dashboard display. Some owners in the same car group can achieve 7.5 liters, saying regular oil changes help. I plan to try full synthetic oil after the next maintenance to see if it can further reduce fuel consumption.

Last week, I just finished a long-distance trip, and the actual fuel consumption test of the CS55 PLUS was quite interesting. The entire journey covered over 600 kilometers, with half on national highways and half on expressways. With the air conditioning on, the combined fuel consumption was 7.8 liters. On national highways with an 80 km/h speed limit, it was most fuel-efficient, requiring just over 7 liters, but fuel consumption would suddenly increase on uphill sections in mountainous areas. Cruising at 120 km/h on the expressway consumed about 8 liters. Surprisingly, driving with windows down was less fuel-efficient than using the air conditioning, which many people wouldn’t expect. The full-tank range indicator showed 620 kilometers, but in reality, the maximum distance covered was 580 kilometers. I recommend installing a tire pressure monitoring system, as I once experienced nearly 1 liter more fuel consumption due to low tire pressure. For long-distance driving, it’s best to turn off the start-stop system, as it doesn’t help much with fuel saving and instead increases wear and tear.

What Causes the Chain Noise on CFMOTO 250?

Chain noise on CFMOTO 250 is related to insufficient lubrication and wear of the chain. Insufficient Chain Lubrication: If the chain lacks lubrication, it can produce abnormal noises. Generally, chain lubrication is required every 500-700 kilometers of riding. Many riders, in an effort to keep their bikes clean and tidy, do not apply sufficient chain lubricant, leading to excessive wear on the gears and chain. At high speeds, the chain may skip teeth, resulting in various noises. Chain Wear: Aggressive riding can cause wear on the chain and gears, necessitating chain replacement. When replacing the chain, both the front and rear sprockets must also be replaced as they form a complete transmission system. Replacing only the chain may result in mismatched components. Solution: Try adjusting the chain tension and applying chain lubricant yourself. If the issue persists, promptly take the bike to a repair shop for servicing.
