Early Signs of Captiva Transmission Failure?

Early signs of Captiva transmission failure 1. Transmission fluid leakage. 2. Engine stalls when shifting gears. 3. Transmission locks in gear. 4. Car does not move when engaged in gear. 5. Rough shifting. 6. Unusual noises from the transmission. 7. Shifting time is too long or too short. 8. Transmission slippage. Additional information as follows: 1. Difficulty in starting, especially in low gear. While driving, the engine RPM increases when the accelerator is pressed, but the vehicle hardly moves, as if it is not in gear. This could be due to transmission fluid leakage. 2. When starting the vehicle, shifting from P or N to other gears causes the engine to stall; or the engine stalls when braking while driving, provided the car does not have auto start-stop. This situation may also indicate fluid leakage. 3. During normal driving, the engine RPM is high when accelerating, but the speed increases very slowly. When braking, the speed drops to a certain point and does not decrease further. In manual mode, the transmission stays in one gear and cannot shift up or down, meaning the transmission is stuck in a particular gear.
