Functions of Dry Clutch: Dry clutches have high transmission efficiency and are commonly used in most cars. They are rarely found in commercially available motorcycles, with Ducati being a notable exception. Dry clutches experience more wear during semi-engagement and produce noticeable noise at idle. Differences Between Dry and Wet Clutches: Dry clutches require frequent gear shifting during use. Unless the driver is highly skilled, the handling of dry clutches is generally inferior to that of wet clutches.
