Does Using the Car Heater Consume Fuel?

Using the car heater does not consume fuel because the warm air is generated by the engine's cooling system. During the process of cooling the engine, a small fan directs the heat into the cabin. The correct way to use the heater is: 1. Start the engine and let it warm up first. 2. Once the engine temperature gauge reaches the middle position, turn on the heater. 3. Set the air circulation to external to allow the cold air inside the car to be expelled. 4. After 2 to 3 minutes, switch the air circulation to internal. Important notes: 1. Avoid directing the air vents toward people, as this can dry out the skin. 2. It's advisable to slightly open the windows for better air circulation; using a car humidifier can also help maintain moisture inside the cabin.
