Well, I remember last year when I was considering changing my car, I specifically went to the 4S dealership to check out Toyota's pure electric vehicle models. They did have some, like the bZ4X SUV. I took it for a test drive and felt the acceleration was quite smooth, and the interior was comfortable too. After driving it for a month, charging was very convenient. After installing a home charging station, the electricity cost was much cheaper than fuel, and there were no noise issues at all for city commuting. Toyota started a bit late with pure electric vehicles, but their battery technology leverages Toyota's years of hybrid experience, so the reliability is good. When traveling, the charging stations at highway rest stops were all usable, so there was basically no range anxiety. I think it’s very considerate as a daily car, especially for someone like me who commutes to work every day.
