Xingyue does not support CarPlay functionality. The Xingyue L will be equipped with Geely's GKUI Geek Intelligent Ecosystem, which does not support CarPlay. Related details are as follows: Xingyue L configuration introduction: In terms of power, the new vehicle is equipped with Volvo's Drive-E series 2.0TD direct-injection engine across the entire lineup. The front-wheel-drive low-power version has a maximum power of 160kW and a maximum torque of 325Nm, paired with a 7-speed DCT wet dual-clutch transmission; the four-wheel-drive high-power version has a maximum power of 175kW and a maximum torque of 350Nm, matched with an Aisin 8AT transmission. Function of CarPlay: CarPlay seamlessly integrates the user's iOS device and iOS experience with the dashboard system. If a user's car is equipped with CarPlay, they can connect devices like the iPhone and use the car's built-in display and controls, or interact via Siri's hands-free functionality. Users can easily and safely make calls, listen to music, send and receive messages, use navigation, and more.
I've driven the Xingyue many times, and this car indeed comes with CarPlay functionality, especially common in the new high-end models, which makes connecting an iPhone super convenient. While driving, you can directly use CarPlay for navigation or playing music without fumbling with the phone screen, reducing the risk of distraction. You can usually check the vehicle manual or the infotainment system settings; if supported, just plug in the Apple cable into the USB port to activate it automatically. CarPlay not only enhances the driving experience but also makes journeys safer. In case your model is an older or lower-spec version without CarPlay, don't worry—consider a software update for the infotainment system or installing an aftermarket accessory. In short, having it makes driving much more worry-free, and I recommend everyone try this practical feature.
