Volkswagen Tiguan I has a remote start system. Remote Start: Refers to the vehicle's engine being able to be started remotely, allowing for pre-heating/cooling of the passenger compartment before departure. ERS is enabled via the key and/or Volvooncall (Volvo On Call). Steps to stop remote start operation: Press the remote key buttons (1), (2), or (4) to unlock the car, open a door, press the accelerator or brake pedal, move the gear selector from P position, or if the remote start activation time exceeds 15 minutes. When the remotely started engine shuts off, the turn signals will flash for 3 seconds.
