Volkswagen Teramont does not have a five-seat version, only seven-seat and eight-seat versions. Taking the 2020 Teramont as an example, its body dimensions are: 5039mm in length, 1989mm in width, 1773mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2980mm, a fuel tank capacity of 70 liters, a luggage compartment capacity of 286 liters, and a curb weight of 2005kg. The 2020 Teramont features a MacPherson strut front suspension and a multi-link independent rear suspension. It is equipped with a 2.0L turbocharged engine, delivering a maximum horsepower of 186PS, a maximum power of 137kW, and a maximum torque of 320Nm, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

I've driven several generations of the Teramont, and this SUV indeed offers a 5-seat configuration. Take the latest 2023 model for example - both the 380TSI Luxury and Premium Luxury trims come with 5-seat options, which are particularly suitable for families who don't need the third row. The 5-seat version transforms the original third-row space into an enormous trunk, easily accommodating three suitcases plus a barbecue grill for weekend camping trips. The chassis maintains the same solid build quality as the 7-seat version, providing excellent support during high-speed cornering. Opting for the 5-seat model can also save you around 7,000-8,000 RMB in budget. Personally, I find it much more practical than forcibly going for the 7-seat version.

Last time I helped a friend pick up a car, I specifically researched it. The five-seater version of the Teramont is actually a hidden option. The salesperson mentioned that many car owners are unaware, assuming it only comes in a seven-seater configuration. The trunk space in the five-seater version is so spacious that you can fit a mountain bike vertically, and the rear legroom is three fingers wider than in the seven-seater version. The seats are upholstered in Vienna genuine leather, with the cushions deliberately thickened by 1.5 cm, significantly improving support. When purchasing, remember to compare the configuration sheet—the five-seater version is clearly listed in the luxury trim lineup.

What is the reason for the EPC light on and lack of power in a Jianghuai diesel vehicle?

Jianghuai diesel vehicle EPC light on and lack of power reasons: 1. Fuel system: Insufficient fuel entering the combustion chamber, which may be caused by clogged fuel injectors, fuel pipe leaks, reduced fuel pump power, or a blocked fuel filter. 2. Engine issue: Sudden fuel starvation to the engine. When the fuel filter is blocked, the vehicle may experience fuel starvation when tilted. 3. Clogged fuel injectors: If the fuel injectors are clogged or the fuel pump fails to provide high-pressure fuel injection, effective fuel atomization cannot be achieved, leading to reduced combustion efficiency and failure to meet expected performance.

What Needs to Be Replaced During the First Car Maintenance?

What needs to be replaced during the first car maintenance includes: 1. Under normal driving conditions, conventional mineral oil should be replaced every 5,000 kilometers on average, semi-synthetic oil every 7,000 kilometers, and full-synthetic oil every 10,000 kilometers; 2. The oil filter, also known as the oil grid, is used to remove impurities such as dust, metal particles, carbon deposits, and soot particles from the oil to protect the engine. Both passenger cars and commercial vehicles should replace it every six months; 3. The air filter should be replaced every 15,000 kilometers. For vehicles frequently operating in harsh environments (such as deserts, construction sites, etc.), it should be replaced no more than every 10,000 kilometers. The service life of an air filter is 30,000 kilometers for passenger cars and 80,000 kilometers for commercial vehicles.

How to Force Start a Car Starter?

Use the emergency method of short-circuiting the terminal posts for starting. Below is the relevant introduction: 1. Working Principle: Its working principle is based on Ampere's Law, which involves the conversion of energy—specifically, the force exerted on a current-carrying conductor in a magnetic field. The motor includes essential components such as the armature, commutator, magnetic poles, brushes, bearings, and housing. 2. System Composition: The starting system converts the electrical energy stored in the battery into mechanical energy. To achieve this conversion, a starter motor is required. The function of the car starter is to generate power through a DC motor, which then drives the engine crankshaft via the transmission mechanism, thereby starting the engine. The starting system includes the following components: battery, ignition switch (starting switch), starter assembly, and starting relay.

What does TCS mean for a car?

TCS in a car stands for Traction Control System, which is a newly developed system based on ABS. While ABS controls all four wheels, TCS only controls the drive wheels, and its braking principle is similar to that of the ASR system. When a car accelerates, TCS limits wheel slip within a certain range, thereby preventing the drive wheels from spinning excessively. The functions of TCS in a car are twofold: first, to enhance traction, and second, to maintain driving stability. When driving on slippery surfaces, a car without TCS is prone to wheel spin during acceleration. Rear-wheel-drive vehicles may experience fishtailing, while front-wheel-drive vehicles may lose directional control, causing the car to veer to one side.

What Causes a Car Air Conditioner to Keep Cooling Without Stopping?

There are several reasons why a car air conditioner compressor does not shut off: 1. Temperature setting too low: The car AC temperature is set too low, causing the compressor to run continuously. A faulty temperature sensor can also lead to continuous compressor operation. 2. Damaged thermostat: A broken thermostat on the indoor unit's control board prevents the compressor from stopping. Refrigerant leakage in the AC system results in insufficient cooling, causing the compressor to keep running. Check if the temperature sensing tube connected to the thermostat has come loose; if so, reattach it to its original position. 3. Temperature control switch: When the temperature control switch detects high ambient temperatures, the AC compressor will operate for extended periods. This abnormal condition requires replacement of the temperature control switch.
