Does the Volkswagen Lavida Low Trim Have Airbags?

The Volkswagen Lavida low trim version is equipped with two airbags. Airbag Structure: It mainly consists of an airbag sensor, collision airbag, and electronic control device. The driver-side collision airbag is installed in the steering wheel; the airbag sensors are installed on the left, right, and middle partitions of the cabin; the middle airbag sensor and airbag system are integrated with the electronic control device. The airbag module primarily includes the airbag, gas generator, and igniter. Airbag Principle: When a collision occurs while the car is in motion, the airbag sensor receives the impact signal, which is then processed by the electronic controller. The controller compares this signal with pre-stored data. If the conditions for airbag deployment are met, the drive circuit sends an activation signal to the gas generator in the airbag module. Upon receiving the signal, the gas generator ignites the gas-producing agent, generating a large volume of gas. This gas is filtered and cooled before entering the airbag, causing it to rapidly inflate and break through the padding in an extremely short time.
