The Tiguan does not meet China 6 emission standards. The currently available Tiguan models are only the 2017 and 2016 versions, which comply with China 5 emission standards. However, the 2019 Tiguan L meets China 6 emission standards. The 2019 Tiguan L is equipped with a 2.0T engine, replacing the 1.8T engine in the 2017 330TSI model, delivering a maximum power of 137 kW and a peak torque of 320 Nm. The Tiguan series comes standard with ESP body stability system, EBD electronic brake-force distribution, and ASR traction control. Additionally, some less common features such as EDS electronic differential lock, EPB electronic parking brake, automatic parking function, and TPR tire pressure monitoring system are also standard configurations in the Tiguan, demonstrating Volkswagen's strong emphasis on safety.

What does it mean for motor vehicles to meet on the road?

In the theoretical driving test, meeting on the road refers to trains or vehicles traveling in opposite directions passing each other at a certain point. Below is a detailed introduction about motor vehicles meeting on the road: 1. Overview: Meeting on the road is a traffic term, referring to trains or vehicles traveling in opposite directions passing each other at a certain point. To meet correctly, drivers should prepare in advance to avoid psychological panic and operational confusion during the encounter. 2. Relevant regulations: On roads without a center line, narrow roads, or narrow bridges, vehicles should slow down and pass on the right, paying attention to the safety of non-motorized vehicles and pedestrians. When meeting is difficult, the party with the right-of-way should yield to the other. On roads with obstacles, the party facing the obstacle should yield to the other.

What to Do About Brake Noise After Rain?

After rain, brakes can develop rust stains due to water exposure, causing the brake pads to retract less sensitively and create friction with the brake discs, resulting in noise. Generally, pressing the brakes a few more times will make the noise disappear, and it won't have a significant impact. Below is some information about brakes: 1. Brake Pads: Also known as brake linings, in a car's braking system, brake pads are the most critical safety components. The effectiveness of all braking depends decisively on the brake pads; Brake pads are usually composed of a steel plate, an adhesive heat insulation layer, and a friction block. The heat insulation layer is made of non-heat-conductive materials to provide thermal insulation; 2. Friction Block: Composed of friction materials and adhesives, it is pressed against the brake disc or drum during braking to create friction, thereby achieving the purpose of slowing down or stopping the vehicle.

Will the Connecting Rod Definitely Bend if Water Enters the Engine?

Engine water ingress will definitely cause the connecting rod to bend. The main reason is: The engine requires air to enter the combustion chamber, which is compressed by the piston to perform work. However, water is incompressible unlike air. If the engine is operating at high speed and water enters the combustion chamber while all valves are closed during the compression stroke, the compression process cannot be completed. This will result in the bending of the connecting rod. Below is some additional information: 1. Function and Composition: An engine is a machine capable of converting other forms of energy into mechanical energy, including internal combustion engines, external combustion engines, jet engines, electric motors, etc. For example, an internal combustion engine typically converts chemical energy into mechanical energy. 2. Application Scope and History: Engines can refer to both power-generating devices and the entire machine including the power unit. The engine was first invented in the UK, so the concept of the engine also originates from English, with its original meaning referring to "a mechanical device that generates power."

Is a Large Wheel Driving a Small Wheel Faster or Slower?

A belt-driven large wheel driving a small wheel constitutes a speed-increasing transmission, resulting in higher rotational speed for the small wheel. Conversely, a small wheel driving a large wheel forms a speed-reducing transmission, with the large wheel rotating at a lower speed. Below are detailed explanations of relevant aspects: 1. Principle: The crankshaft pulley serves as the power source for driving other engine accessories, utilizing the drive belt to operate components such as the generator, water pump, power steering pump, and compressor. 2. Function: It drives the water pump, generator, and air conditioning compressor. The water pump ensures the normal operation of the engine's water circulation for cooling purposes, the generator charges the battery to maintain the proper functioning of various automotive circuits, and the air conditioning compressor operates the air conditioning system. 3. Advantages: Pulley transmission can mitigate load impacts, operates smoothly with low noise and vibration, features a simple structure that is easy to adjust, does not require the stringent manufacturing and installation precision of meshing transmissions, provides overload protection, and allows for a wide range of center distance adjustments between the two shafts.

In which year did the Honda CR-V start using CVT transmission?

Honda CR-V began using CVT transmission across all models starting from 2016. The 2015 model year had already adopted CVT for other variants. From the 2016 model year onward, the entire lineup switched to CVT. Here's a brief introduction about the Honda CR-V: 1. Honda CR-V Overview: The Honda CR-V is an urban classic SUV model produced by Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co., Ltd. The new CR-V features a sporty and fashionable exterior design with excellent handling performance. 2. Powertrain: The Honda CR-V is equipped with recalibrated 2.0L and 2.4L engines. The 2.4L engine provides ample power with quick acceleration, making overtaking effortless. The 2.0L engine has relatively weaker power output with slower initial acceleration. The new CR-V uses Michelin LATITUDE-Tour series tires.

How to conduct annual inspection for 11-year-old vehicles under new regulations?

For vehicles purchased in 2011, annual inspection was still required in 2020, as the new policy took effect on November 20, 2020. This means that only vehicles undergoing inspection after November 20, 2020 would receive a 2-year valid motor vehicle inspection certificate. Details are as follows: 1. New regulations: According to the new requirements, the scope of motor vehicles exempt from inspection has been expanded. In addition to the existing exemption for non-commercial mini and small passenger vehicles with 6 or fewer seats within 6 years, non-commercial mini and small passenger vehicles with 7 to 9 seats (excluding vans) within 6 years are now also included in the exemption. 2. New adjustment: For non-commercial mini and small passenger vehicles (excluding vans) over 6 years but under 10 years old, the inspection frequency has been adjusted from annually to once every two years.
