The Tiguan L PHEV can operate in multiple driving modes: Hybrid, Pure Electric, Battery Hold, and Battery Charge modes. If the Pure Electric mode is selected, the system will automatically switch to gasoline-only mode after exceeding 52 kilometers of driving. Typically, when the battery level drops to a certain point or when conditions no longer meet pure electric driving requirements, the vehicle will automatically enter the hybrid mode. In Battery Hold mode (switching from hybrid to pure electric) or Battery Hold mode (switching from pure electric to gasoline-only), the system does not automatically switch between these two modes during driving. The driver needs to select the desired mode before starting the vehicle using the driving mode switch.

How many airbags does the Corolla have?

The Corolla is equipped with 2 airbags: a driver's airbag and a front passenger airbag, which help protect the heads and chests of the driver and front passenger from impacts with interior components. The Corolla's driver airbag is located in the center of the steering wheel, while the front passenger airbag is housed within the dashboard on the passenger side. The front side airbags are positioned in the side of the seatbacks closest to the doors. Function of car airbags: To prevent injuries caused by collisions between occupants and interior components during a car crash. They serve as supplementary safety devices to seatbelts, working in conjunction with them. Protection principle of car airbags: When a car experiences a certain level of impact force, the airbag system triggers a chemical reaction similar to a small explosive detonation. The hidden airbags inflate and deploy instantly, positioning themselves between occupants and interior components before impact occurs. Upon contact with the occupant, the airbag begins deflating through vent holes on its surface, cushioning the impact and reducing the force exerted on the body, ultimately minimizing occupant injuries.

How Does an Automotive Emergency Jump Starter Work?

Automotive emergency jump starters operate on the following principles: 1. When AC power is input, the self-switching mutual transfer device activates the vehicle while the system controller charges and manages the battery via the charger. 2. In case of AC power interruption or overvoltage, the controller system sends commands to the transfer device, switching to inverter power supply which utilizes stored battery power to provide electricity to other devices. 3. When input AC voltage returns to normal, the controller system commands the inverter to shut down. The transfer device then switches back from inverter to AC power to supply other devices while simultaneously recharging the battery pack.
