Does the Teana have an automatic locking function?

Teana has an automatic locking function. Method to activate auto-lock: Turn the key to put the car in the on position, hold the lock button for about 10 seconds until you hear a beeping sound inside the car or see the hazard lights flash twice, indicating that the auto-lock function has been set. The purpose of the auto-lock function is anti-theft. The doors will only lock after reaching a certain speed while driving, preventing door-pull robberies during traffic jams or at red lights, providing a certain level of security. Method to deactivate auto-lock: Press the unlock button and hold it for 6 seconds until the hazard indicators on the dashboard flash twice. Repeat the process, and the arrow warning light will flash once, indicating that the auto-lock function has been turned off. Different car models may have different deactivation methods. You can cancel it through the settings on the car's dashboard or use a car diagnostic tool to deactivate it.
I've been driving the Altima for three years, and it does have the walk-away auto lock feature. As long as you walk about two meters away from the car with the smart key, it will automatically lock in about thirty seconds. I tested it once at a supermarket entrance, and it worked perfectly. However, this feature is only available on mid-to-high trim models. My 2.0T Intelligent Edition comes with it standard, but lower trims might require an additional module for this function. Sometimes it may fail if the key is too close to the trunk or in areas with signal interference. The newer Altima models also support remote locking via a mobile app, which is especially handy for those who often forget to lock their cars. Remember to check if the side mirrors are folded after parking—that's the most obvious confirmation that the car is locked.
