Does the Sylphy need to remove the front bumper to replace the fog lights?

The Sylphy does not require removing the front bumper to replace the fog lights. Below are the methods for removing the fog lights and the conditions for turning them on: Method for removing fog lights: Use a flathead screwdriver to pry from the reverse side of the fog light grille, loosening the clips inside. Then, use the flathead screwdriver to pry the clips securing the fog light to the front bumper from the front gap. Remove the fog light grille and spline. Unscrew the two screws, hold the side where the screws were removed, and pull upwards to take out the fog light for removal. Conditions for turning on fog lights: According to traffic regulations, when visibility is between 100-200m, fog lights, low beams, width indicators, and taillights must be turned on, with speed not exceeding 60km/h and maintaining a distance of more than 100m from the vehicle ahead. When visibility is between 50-100m, fog lights, low beams, width indicators, and taillights must be turned on, with speed not exceeding 40km/h and maintaining a distance of more than 50m from the vehicle ahead.
Replacing the fog lights on a Sylphy generally requires removing part of the front bumper, as I've done this myself before. Since the fog lights are fixed inside the bumper, it's difficult to reach the bulb socket without removing it. Forcing it might break the clips or scratch the car's paint. I remember when I worked on my old Sylphy, I had to use a wrench to unscrew the bolts under the bumper first, then gently pull it open a bit to access the fog lights. The whole process isn't too complicated but requires some patience. After installing the new bulb, make sure it's properly sealed to prevent rainwater from seeping in and affecting the electrical system. Fog lights are super important during rainy or foggy weather—if they're not working, get them fixed immediately to avoid poor visibility and potential accidents. If you're not familiar with tools or worried about making mistakes, it's safer and more convenient to take it to a professional repair shop.
