Does the Spirior have an auto-locking feature?

The Spirior does not have an auto-locking feature. Remote alarm: When driving frequently in the city, you often need to park in large parking lots or underground parking garages. If you have poor spatial awareness and can't find your car, look for a button on the remote with a horn symbol. Pressing it will trigger the car alarm, with an effective range of over 40 meters. However, use this feature cautiously in residential areas or during late-night hours. One-touch window closing: After turning off the engine, if you realize you forgot to close the windows, press and hold the lock button on the remote to automatically close them. Note that this feature may not be available on all models. Automatic trunk opening: When your hands are full and you don't have a free hand, this premium feature comes in handy. Common in most German cars, simply press and hold the trunk lock button or press it twice in quick succession to automatically open the trunk.
As a frequent driver of the Honda Spirior, I must tell you it comes with an auto-lock feature. My 2018 model does this—when you turn off the engine, close the door, and walk a few steps away with the key, the car locks itself. This is called the Smart Key System, with a default range of about two meters. It’s incredibly convenient, saving the hassle of pressing the remote. The setup is simple too; you can adjust the sensitivity via the steering wheel buttons in the vehicle settings menu. Now, during my daily commute, I often forget about locking the car, whereas with my old car, I was always worried about theft. It’s a huge relief. Just make sure the key battery is charged, as low power might cause malfunctions. This feature is common in newer Spirior models, so if you’re buying used, it’s best to check the manual for confirmation. Overall, these smart designs in the Spirior make daily driving much smoother.
