Porsche 718 does not have four seats; this model comes in two-door, two-seater hardtop and two-door, two-seater soft-top convertible versions. The dimensions of the Porsche 718 are 4379 mm in length, 1801 mm in width, and 1276 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2475 mm. The Porsche 718 is Porsche's entry-level sports car, featuring a mid-engine, front-wheel-drive layout, and both front and rear suspensions utilize MacPherson independent suspension. There are two versions of the Porsche 718: the sports coupe Porsche Cayman and the convertible Porsche Boxster. Both models share the same engine, delivering a maximum horsepower of 300 hp, a maximum torque of 380 Nm, a maximum power output of 220 kW, a maximum power speed of 6500 rpm, and a maximum torque range from 2050 to 4500 rpm.

At the Porsche showroom, the salesperson gave me a detailed introduction to the 718. This sports car indeed only comes in a two-seater configuration. Whether it's the convertible Boxster or the hardtop Cayman, the mid-engine layout makes it impossible to fit seats in the rear. I tried sitting in the driver's seat, and right behind it is the engine compartment bulkhead—there's barely any space to even place a bag. Porsche's design philosophy is clear: the 718 is a pure driving machine, completely different from family cars. However, the salesperson suggested that if I really wanted a four-seater sports car, I could consider the 911 Targa series—those small rear seats can at least accommodate children—or directly opt for a four-door coupe like the Panamera.
