Does the Nissan Tiida support CarPlay?

Nissan Tiida does not support CarPlay. Introduction to CarPlay: CarPlay is an in-car system released by Apple Inc. in the United States, which seamlessly integrates users' iOS devices and iOS usage experience with the dashboard system. Interfaces supported by CarPlay: CarPlay only supports iPhone models with Lightning connectors. Although the iPad also supports this interface, Apple has not included the iPad as a hardware device supported by CarPlay. On June 13, 2016, Apple announced at the WWDC developer conference that its smart car system, CarPlay, would be updated alongside iOS 10, becoming the perfect companion for the new Apple Maps and Siri.
I've driven quite a few Nissan models, and the Tiida is very popular as a family car. Regarding whether it supports CarPlay, it depends on the model year and trim level. For example, higher-end versions from 2020 onwards, like the Ti and SL trims, come with an infotainment system that integrates CarPlay functionality. You can simply plug in your iPhone to display the Apple interface on the screen, making navigation and music playback incredibly convenient. Older models, such as those from 2017 or 2018, typically come with Nissan's native system, which doesn't support CarPlay, but you can upgrade by installing an aftermarket head unit. CarPlay is a big plus for daily driving, as it eliminates the need to fiddle with your phone, enhancing safety. When actually choosing a car, I recommend checking the official website's specifications or bringing your phone for a connection test during a test drive to ensure compatibility.
