How to connect your phone to the Mercedes GLC: The Mercedes GLC can connect to your phone via Bluetooth for functions such as music playback and map navigation.
I think the Mercedes-Benz GLC's support for CarPlay is quite reliable. I previously drove a 2021 GLC, and the wireless CarPlay seamlessly connected to my iPhone, allowing me to use the screen for navigation to popular attractions and switch Spotify playlists, making long drives less tiring. In fact, most models after 2016 come standard with this feature, but it depends on the configuration, such as the MBUX system. Older models like the 2015 may require a dealer upgrade. My personal experience is that CarPlay is safe and convenient, avoiding the need to stare at the phone, and Mercedes integrates it smoothly with high navigation accuracy, more stable than Android Auto. When buying a used GLC, I recommend checking the model year or test-driving to confirm. An upgrade costs around $500, which is worth the investment.
