The Lynk & Co 02 is equipped with a 4-cylinder engine, model B4204T30, with a maximum power of 140 kW and a maximum torque of 300 Nm. The Lynk & Co 02 uses Volvo's VEA engine. To be precise, it incorporates Volvo's technology, but the actual engine production takes place domestically in China. For the daily maintenance of the Lynk & Co 02's engine, the following methods can be employed: Use lubricating oil of the appropriate quality grade. For gasoline engines, select SD--SF grade gasoline engine oil based on the additional equipment in the intake and exhaust systems and usage conditions. For diesel engines, choose CB--CD grade diesel engine oil according to mechanical load, ensuring the standard meets or exceeds the manufacturer's requirements. Regularly change the engine oil and filter. The quality of any lubricating oil will degrade over time. After a certain mileage, its performance deteriorates, leading to various engine issues. To prevent malfunctions, change the oil periodically based on usage conditions and maintain an appropriate oil level. As oil passes through the fine pores of the filter, solid particles and viscous substances accumulate in the filter. If the filter becomes clogged and oil cannot pass through, it may rupture the filter or open the safety valve, allowing oil to bypass through the relief valve and carry contaminants back to the lubrication areas, accelerating engine wear and internal contamination. Regularly clean the crankcase. During engine operation, high-pressure unburned gases, acids, moisture, sulfur, and nitrogen oxides from the combustion chamber enter the crankcase through the gap between the piston rings and cylinder walls, mixing with metal particles from component wear to form sludge. In small amounts, this sludge remains suspended in the oil; in larger amounts, it precipitates, clogging filters and oil passages, making engine lubrication difficult and increasing wear. Periodically use a radiator cleaner to flush the radiator. Removing rust and scale deposits not only ensures proper engine operation but also extends the lifespan of both the radiator and the engine.

Which is more fuel-efficient, 1.5T or 1.5L?

1.5L is more fuel-efficient. 1.5L refers to a naturally aspirated engine, while 1.5T refers to a turbocharged engine. Displacement refers to the volume of space that the piston moves from top dead center to bottom dead center, known as the cylinder displacement. Fuel-saving capability is not only determined by displacement but also factors such as engine efficiency, transmission losses, vehicle weight, tires, etc. If an engine has multiple cylinders, the sum of all cylinder volumes is called the engine displacement. Due to the smaller displacement of turbocharged engines, they generally have higher fuel efficiency during operation. Naturally aspirated engines tend to have a longer lifespan, while turbocharged engines offer relatively higher power output and torque.
