Does the Leiling's Windows Have Anti-pinch Function?

Leiling's windows are equipped with an anti-pinch function, which is a safety-focused feature. When the power window encounters resistance while closing, it will automatically stop or reverse the upward movement to a downward movement to prevent pinching injuries. The Leiling is a compact 4-door, 5-seater sedan with body dimensions of 4640mm in length, 1780mm in width, 1455mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2700mm. It is powered by a 1.2T turbocharged engine paired with a CVT continuously variable transmission, delivering a maximum power of 85 kW and a maximum torque of 185 Nm. The drive system is front-wheel drive, with a MacPherson strut independent suspension at the front and an E-type multi-link independent suspension at the rear.
I've been driving my Leiling for almost two years now. One day when I was closing the window, a branch happened to stick inside, and the glass immediately automatically lowered upon touching it, which really startled me. This anti-pinch function is actually quite sensitive in real use. Later, I checked the manual - it works by the motor sensing resistance changes and automatically reverses when detecting foreign objects. This feature gives me great peace of mind when going out with kids. Nowadays many family cars priced around 100,000 yuan come standard with this. Just a reminder though: if you've replaced the battery or disconnected door wiring, you'll need to reinitialize the settings by holding the window-up button for a few seconds until you hear a beep, otherwise the function might not work properly.
Last week when I accompanied a friend to test drive the Leiling, we specifically tested the anti-pinch feature. We placed a water bottle on the window frame, and the glass immediately retracted upon pressing the bottle. The principle is quite simple: the motor detects resistance by sensing current changes and reverses when encountering resistance over 4 Newtons, equivalent to the weight of half a pound of apples. Although the spec sheet doesn't detail this, the feature is standard across all trims. During maintenance, a technician mentioned that if the anti-pinch fails, you can perform an initialization by holding the window-up button: first raise it to the top and hold for 10 seconds, then lower it to the bottom and hold for another 10 seconds, which usually restores the function.
