Does the Jetta VS5 support wireless CarPlay?
1 Answers
The VS5 is equipped with an 8-inch central control screen and supports the CarPlay and CarLife connectivity systems, as well as features like autonomous emergency braking. In contrast, the all-new H6 comes with a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 12.3-inch floating central control screen, supporting navigation, vehicle internet connectivity, OTA updates, and wireless phone charging, among other features. Connection Method: To connect CarPlay, first use a USB cable to connect your iPhone to the vehicle's USB port. Once successfully connected, it will automatically enter CarPlay mode. The phone will display the CarPlay icon, and the vehicle's host will show an iOS-style interface. Note that if Siri is not enabled on the phone, the vehicle host will prompt that CarPlay is unavailable. Simply enable Siri in [Settings] - [Siri & Search]. After successful connection, you can operate it using the [Voice Control] button on the steering wheel, the touch screen of the vehicle host, or the car's physical buttons. CarPlay seamlessly integrates the user's iOS device and iOS experience with the dashboard system. If your car is equipped with CarPlay, you can connect an iPhone or similar device and interact with it using the car's built-in display, control buttons, or Siri hands-free functionality. Users can easily and safely make calls, listen to music, send and receive messages, and use navigation.
