The older models of the CR-V had naturally aspirated engines, but the newer models with the 2.0L naturally aspirated engines are all hybrid versions. The gasoline-powered versions only come with turbocharged engines. The Honda CR-V is a classic urban SUV model produced by Dongfeng Honda Automobile Company. The CR-V (comfortable runabout-vehicle) was developed with the concept of "easy and enjoyable driving anytime, anywhere." Over its 25-year history, it has won the affection of more than 11 million owners across 160 countries. Since its introduction to the domestic market in 2004, the CR-V has successfully pioneered the Chinese urban SUV market with its product strength and has gained the support and recognition of 2.2 million domestic owners. The new Honda CR-V gasoline-powered models are equipped with a 1.5T inline four-cylinder engine, delivering a maximum power of 193 horsepower and a maximum torque of 243 N·m, meeting the China VI emission standards. The transmission system is paired with a 6-speed manual or CVT continuously variable transmission, and mid-to-high trim levels also offer an optional four-wheel-drive version. The hybrid models, known as the "Sharp Hybrid," feature the third-generation i-MMD hybrid system, which consists of an LFB12 2.0L Atkinson-cycle naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine, dual electric motors, and a lithium-ion battery pack. The engine produces a maximum power of 146 horsepower, while the system's combined power output reaches 215 horsepower.
