The Haval M6 is equipped with auto start-stop function. The Econ button located below the vehicle stability switch serves as the auto start-stop switch. Definition of auto start-stop: Engine auto start-stop automatically shuts off the engine when the vehicle comes to a temporary stop during driving (e.g., waiting at traffic lights). When it's time to move again, the system automatically restarts the engine. This is achieved by installing an enhanced motor with idle start-stop capability in traditional engines, allowing complete engine shutdown when idle stop conditions are met. Advantages of auto start-stop: It can reduce unnecessary fuel consumption, lower emissions, and improve fuel economy. In urban traffic situations like waiting at signals or during traffic jams, it minimizes engine idling time. Moreover, when the engine is off, the power system can replace the belt pulley to provide operation power for the engine cooling fan and air conditioning system.
