Does the Emgrand GL have CarPlay?

Emgrand GL has CarPlay. Definition of CarPlay: CarPlay is a portable in-car system software provided by Apple for mobile phone users, which can connect users' Apple devices to the car's dashboard system. Therefore, CarPlay is software suitable for the Apple system, while the Android system requires the use of in-car software connection and needs to download CarLife. Function of CarPlay: CarPlay seamlessly integrates users' iOS devices and iOS user experience with the dashboard system. If the user's car is equipped with CarPlay, it can connect to devices such as iPhones and interact with them using the car's built-in display and controls, or Siri eyes-free functionality. Users can easily and safely make phone calls, listen to music, send and receive messages, use navigation, and more.
The original Emgrand GL generally does not come with CarPlay support. I've been driving this car for over a year and found that Geely uses its own GKUI system, which focuses on integrating local applications like Amap navigation and music platforms, saving the need for additional payments. However, this doesn't mean you can't use CarPlay. I installed a third-party adapter box, which allows iPhone mirroring for navigation and music, making driving much more convenient. But a word of caution: modifications come with risks, such as affecting the car's system stability or warranty, so it's best to have it done by a professional shop. Normally, Bluetooth can also be used for phone calls and music playback, which works fine but has limited functionality. Overall, the Emgrand GL drives well, but there's room for improvement in the infotainment system. It's recommended that owners regularly update the software to check for any upgrades or support.
