The CRV does not support CarPlay from the factory. The CRV model does not provide any mobile phone interconnect mapping functions, making it impossible to project phone functions onto the vehicle's multimedia system. However, some models are equipped with internet connectivity features, allowing related functions to be achieved through a seven-inch central control touch display screen, enhancing convenience for the user. CarPlay is a car system released by Apple that connects to an iPhone via USB. Currently supported functions include navigation, music, making and receiving calls, text messages, podcasts, and audiobooks. The CRV model under Dongfeng Honda is a compact SUV. The currently available models are the 2021 versions, which use two types of engines: a 1.5T turbocharged engine and a 2.0L naturally aspirated engine, paired with either a manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission. The vehicle's body structure is a five-door, five-seat SUV. The vehicle offers two drivetrain options: a two-wheel-drive version and a four-wheel-drive version.

As an owner of the 2019 CR-V, I can confirm that all China VI models after 2019 support wired CarPlay. Just plug in the data cable to use Apple Maps for navigation and play NetEase Cloud Music playlists, which is much smoother than the built-in car navigation. For older 2017-2018 models, some may require a later upgrade of the infotainment system, and it's recommended to visit a 4S store for a firmware update. Note that only USB connection is supported; wireless CarPlay requires installing an additional module, which can be bought online for about 300 RMB, but the audio quality may suffer. Android phones can also be used but need to switch to Honda Connect, which offers a poorer experience. After last year's OTA update, a split-screen feature was added, allowing you to switch songs while using navigation.
