Does the BYD Qin Use Green or Blue License Plates?

BYD Qin uses green license plates. The BYD Qin Plus model is classified as a new energy vehicle, with energy types being plug-in hybrid and pure electric. Both types fall under the new energy category, so it is perfectly appropriate to display the green new energy-specific license plate. New energy vehicle-specific license plates: Green background with black characters and black borders. The new energy vehicle license plate features a gradient green design, while large new energy vehicle license plates use a yellow-green dual-color scheme (the regional code section is yellow, and the number section is green). New energy vehicles include four major types: Hybrid electric vehicles (HEV), battery electric vehicles (BEV, including solar-powered vehicles), fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV), and other new energy vehicles (such as those using supercapacitors, flywheels, and other high-efficiency energy storage devices).
My BYD Qin just got the green license plate right after I picked it up last year, and the 4S dealership specifically reminded me that all new energy vehicles are like this. The Qin series now is basically all hybrid or pure electric, like my Qin PLUS DM-i plug-in hybrid which can run 120 km on pure electricity, fully meeting the national green license plate standards. Last week I saw an older fuel-powered Qin with a blue plate, but now 4S dealerships don’t sell the fuel version anymore. The green plate’s exemption from traffic restrictions is really convenient, especially for my daily 60 km commute. On the airport expressway, new energy vehicles can even use the bus lane, and even parking fees come with discounts.
