BYD F3 does not comply with China VI emission standards, it meets China V standard, which is the fifth stage national motor vehicle pollutant emission standard, abbreviated as 'China V standard'. Its emission control level is equivalent to the fifth stage emission standard currently implemented in Europe. The BYD F3 is an A+ class passenger car produced by BYD Auto. In terms of body dimensions, it measures 4533mm in length, 1705mm in width, and 1490mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2600mm. The BYD F3 is equipped with four-wheel ABS plus EBD, featuring more reliable four-wheel disc brakes. For passive safety, it comes with front dual airbags and front pretensioner plus rear ordinary seat belts.
I bought a BYD F3 recently, the new model released in 2020, which meets the China 6 emission standard. Driving it in Shanghai, I don't have to worry about traffic restrictions because only China 6 compliant vehicles can be registered in big cities. It's quite fuel-efficient, with an average fuel consumption of around 6 liters. I read some materials before, and BYD has upgraded the F3's engine, using a new technology three-way catalytic converter to reduce exhaust emissions. For us ordinary users, choosing the China 6 version is not only environmentally friendly but also saves money, and there's no extra burden on insurance or anything. I think the F3 is quite suitable as a family commuter car, offering good value for money, and it's safe and convenient for daily travel. Even in third or fourth-tier cities, the China 6 version won't be restricted, and the overall driving experience is quite smooth.
