Buick Excelle does not have a rear tow hook. Additional information: 1. Exterior: The new car adopts Buick's new-generation family design language, with the iconic wing-shaped front grille naturally present. The chrome trim on the outer edge of the front grille extends into the headlights, creating an integrated aesthetic. The new headlight design is more refined. 2. Dimensions: The new car measures 4539/1798/1475mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2640mm. 3. Interior: A new brown interior similar to the all-new Regal has been added, with extensive use of leather to enhance the interior quality. 4. Features: Equipped with Buick's new-generation eMotion intelligent drive, eConnect intelligent connectivity, and eProtect intelligent safety technologies. Practical features such as roof racks and electric sunroofs are optional depending on the model. The 1.3T engine delivers impressive performance, essentially matching the level of the previous 1.5T engine. There is also a 1.0T version available with manual and dual-clutch transmissions.
I drive a Buick Excelle GT, and I've actually used the tow hook before when my car got stuck in mud. There is indeed a tow hitch at the rear, but it's quite well hidden. If you crouch down and look at the rear bumper, there's a small square cover on either the left or right side that can be pried open gently with a key or flat-head screwdriver. Inside is a threaded socket, and the matching tow ring is usually stored in the spare tire well in the trunk—remember to put it back after each use. This thing can only handle towing vehicles up to about 1.5 tons, so definitely don't try towing an RV with it. I once saw someone in the car owners' group modify an external tow hook, only to end up deforming the crash beam—I really don't recommend making random modifications. Also, remember to shift to neutral and release the electronic parking brake when towing, or you might wreck the transmission.
