Does the BMW 3 Series have a card key?
1 Answers
BMW 3 Series requires the installation of Comfort Access to have a card key. How the card key works: When the card key is near the car, the key and the car begin to exchange preset command information via radio. Subsequently, the car's locking system, security system, and engine control system are all activated. How to use the card key: To open the door, as soon as the driver touches the door handle, the sensor detects this pressure and unlocks the door. Before starting, the driver must press the brake pedal, which will release the steering wheel lock and the start button, and finally the main brake will automatically disengage. When exiting the vehicle, the driver must press the lock button. If the turn signals flash, it indicates that the doors are securely locked. When the car is locked, the key and the car will agree on a new command information.
