Does the base model Honda Lingpai have Bluetooth?

The base model Honda Lingpai also comes with Bluetooth. There are two methods for Bluetooth connection: 1. For car Bluetooth that appears as a display: First, turn on the car Bluetooth; at this point, the car Bluetooth display will show a pairing request password, usually 0000. Then, enable Bluetooth on your phone; search for the car Bluetooth information on the phone, click it, and enter the pairing password. This will establish the connection. 2. Another type similar to a Bluetooth headset: First, press and hold the power button of the car Bluetooth for 3-5 seconds until the car Bluetooth enters pairing mode. The display may vary for different Bluetooth products, but in pairing mode, the indicator light will flash alternately in red and blue. Only in pairing mode can the car Bluetooth device be detected. Next, enable Bluetooth on your phone by going to Settings > Bluetooth > Turn On, then click the search option below the interface to find the corresponding pairing name of your car Bluetooth and click to connect. A prompt usually appears asking to confirm the connection; simply click confirm. If some devices require a password during pairing, you can refer to the manual and enter it, usually "0000". Once connected successfully, the car Bluetooth indicator light will enter standby mode. Under the Bluetooth devices section on your phone, it will also show as connected for the corresponding device.
I've been driving the base model Honda Lingpai for quite some time. Initially chose it for fuel efficiency and affordability, but it indeed lacks Bluetooth functionality. Every time I want to play music from my phone or take calls while driving, I have to connect via cable or fumble around, which is quite inconvenient. The manual states that the base model's entertainment system has basic features and often excludes Bluetooth – you need to check the specifications sheet. Nowadays, many cars come with Bluetooth as standard, enabling hands-free calls for safety and convenience, minimizing distractions from phone operations. My solution was to buy a Bluetooth receiver that plugs into the cigarette lighter port – costs less than 100 yuan and works decently. I recommend test driving carefully and checking the infotainment settings before purchase; if there's a Bluetooth icon, it's supported, otherwise, you'll have to bear with it or consider aftermarket installation. The Lingpai base model offers spacious interiors and low fuel consumption, making it suitable for daily commutes, but its entertainment features are weak. Next time I change cars, I'll opt for a higher trim. Safety first – having Bluetooth for calls while driving reduces risks.
