Audi RS7 does not have a pure manual transmission; it is equipped with a Tiptronic transmission. Introduction to Tiptronic: It combines manual and automatic shifting modes. Manual mode allows drivers to freely adjust gears and RPM, providing a thrilling driving experience with a strong sense of sportiness and driving pleasure. Usage of Tiptronic: It is recommended to use manual mode during high-speed driving, as it not only accelerates faster but also allows the use of engine braking during emergency braking. When braking at high speeds, while pressing the brake pedal, quickly pull the gear lever backward repeatedly to force the car into a lower gear, generating strong engine braking and speeding up deceleration.

I've driven the Audi RS7, this top-tier performance car, on the track several times. To be honest, the entire lineup only comes with automatic transmission configurations, and there has never been a manual version. The 8-speed Tiptronic transmission it's equipped with is exceptionally intelligent, shifting gears much faster than human hands can, completing upshifts and downshifts in just 0.1 seconds. Nowadays, even competitors like the Porsche Panamera Turbo have abandoned manual transmissions, especially when dealing with the sudden burst of 600 horsepower where a manual simply can't keep up. If you're truly enamored with the feel of manual operation, you might want to try paddle shifters; the backfire sound during downshift rev-matching is just as thrilling. After driving for a while, you'll realize that automatic transmissions are more hassle-free in the city—just control the throttle and brake with your right foot, leaving your left hand free to adjust the audio system.

As someone who has driven an Audi performance car for three years, I can confirm that the RS7 indeed does not come with a manual transmission. I checked during my test drive at the dealership, and the salesperson mentioned that the automatic transmission is more compatible with the quattro system, preventing stalling during high torque output. Now that I'm used to it, I find it more convenient, especially during rainy days in traffic jams—no need to move my left foot between the clutch and the footrest. While manual transmissions offer a more raw driving experience, the RS7's automatic mode is intelligent enough, with crisp downshifts for highway overtaking. If you're truly after the manual driving experience, you might want to consider a Porsche 911 in the same price range—it offers both PDK and manual options, unlike the RS7, which has completely abandoned the manual route.

After studying the RS7 transmission data, it comes standard with an 8-speed automatic transmission across the entire lineup. It's quite common for high-performance cars not to offer manual transmissions, as the engine's 600 Nm torque would be too much for a manual to handle. In daily driving, an automatic transmission is more convenient, eliminating concerns about half-clutch engagement in traffic. You can still play with the revs using paddle shifters without wearing out the clutch discs.

Having followed the Audi RS series for seven or eight years, I can definitively say none of them come with manual transmissions. High-performance cars pairing with automatic transmissions is a major trend, just like their competitors such as the AMG GT and M5. Automatic transmissions allow the quattro system to react more precisely, enabling more timely power distribution when attacking corners on mountain roads. If you truly want a manual transmission performance car, I suggest looking down a tier at hot hatches like the Focus RS—they're significantly cheaper and offer a purer driving experience.

All the RS7 models I've worked on use automatic transmissions, with no design provisions for a manual gearbox. Forcing a manual transmission into such a high-horsepower car is extremely dangerous and can fry the clutch discs in no time. Maintaining an automatic is simpler too—just change the transmission fluid every 60,000 km. If you want to enjoy manual driving, consider cars like the 86 or BRZ instead. They offer greater modification potential at a much lower cost.

Why does the car shake at low speeds?

Here are possible reasons why a car may shake at low speeds: 1. Unstable oil pressure If the fuel pump's oil supply pressure is abnormal or the intake pressure sensor value is incorrect or malfunctioning, it can cause the car body to shake. 2. Dirty throttle valve, excessive carbon deposits in the fuel injector or intake manifold The gasoline sprayed by the cold start injector will be largely absorbed by carbon deposits, resulting in an excessively lean mixture during cold starts, making it difficult to start and causing the car body to shake. 3. Ignition system problems Poor spark plug firing can also lead to such fault phenomena. 4. Aging engine mounts or engine supports. 5. Deformed rims or unbalanced rim weights. Below are the provided solutions: 1. Go to a 4S shop to check whether the fuel supply pressure and intake pressure sensor are normal, and carry out replacement and repair. 2. Clean engine carbon deposits, throttle valve, replace oil pads and spark plugs. 3. Perform four-wheel alignment and dynamic balancing to determine the tire balance condition and replace the tires if necessary.

How Long Does Automotive Paint Baking Generally Take?

Automotive OEM high-temperature paint baking typically takes half an hour per coating layer, while touch-up paint uses air-drying lacquer that requires baking at low temperatures (60-80°C) in a paint booth for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Below are relevant details about automotive paint baking: 1. Paint spraying equipment categories: Branded paint booths, branded paint spray guns, etc. Paint booths can achieve maximum dust isolation, with temperatures around 70°C, highlighting the difference between the two processes. 2. Baking method: When vehicles undergo paint spraying at manufacturing plants, the process occurs in fully enclosed, dust-isolated specialized rooms. Both baking temperatures and paint spray guns are computer-controlled, with temperatures reaching approximately 200°C since no plastic components are installed in the vehicle during this stage, and the spray guns feature high-precision computer control.
