Does the 2021 Avalon Still Have Engine Oil Emulsification?
1 Answers
Currently, no. All reported cases of engine oil dilution in the Avalon are concentrated in the 2019 model, and the latest 2021 Avalon does not have this issue. Below is some information about the 2021 Avalon: 1. Performance: This vehicle is equipped with an imported Aisin 8-speed automatic transmission, an 8AT hydraulic automatic transmission with manual mode, and offers four driving modes: Eco, Normal, Sport, and Sport+. The quality is relatively stable with no common issues. 2. Cause of Emulsification: The main reason for the engine oil emulsification problem is that in winter, atomized fuel sprayed by the injector comes into contact with the colder cylinder walls, leading to wet walling. When wet walling occurs, gasoline flows into the oil pan and mixes with the engine oil, causing emulsification over time. This issue has now been completely resolved.
