The 2018 Envision 28T Luxury Edition is equipped with both standard cruise control and adaptive cruise control. How cruise control works: When the cruise control button is pressed, the vehicle will maintain the set speed. The function is immediately canceled when the brake pedal is pressed. The cruise control module reads the pulse signal from the speed sensor and compares it with the set speed, then issues commands to the servo mechanism to adjust the throttle opening, either increasing or decreasing it, to keep the vehicle at the preset speed. How to use cruise control: Press CRUISE to activate cruise control. Briefly press the adjustment button toward RES+ or SET- once to increase or decrease the set cruise speed by 1 km/h. Press the button toward SET- to set the current speed as the cruise speed.

How to Distinguish Between Drive and Reverse Gears?

The differences between drive and reverse gears are: 1. Gear position: The drive gear for automatic transmissions is in D and L positions, while for manual transmissions it's on the numbered gears; the reverse gear is the R position. 2. Function: The drive gear moves the vehicle forward; the reverse gear moves the vehicle backward. 3. Operation method: The drive gear can be shifted while driving; the reverse gear requires the vehicle to be stationary for shifting. The function of gears is: To change the corresponding driving and driven gears of the transmission for each gear position. The engaged gear determines which pair of gears combine to transmit power, thereby driving the wheels' rotation. Higher gears have smaller transmission ratios, while lower gears have larger transmission ratios.

What Causes High Idle Speed in a Vehicle?

High idle speed in a vehicle can be caused by: 1. Throttle valve sticking or failing to close properly; 2. Malfunction of the idle control valve; 3. Faulty coolant temperature sensor; 4. Air intake system leaks; 5. Issues with the air conditioning switch or power steering pressure switch. The hazards of high idle speed to a vehicle include: 1. Increased engine carbon deposits; 2. Shortened engine lifespan; 3. Overly rich air-fuel mixture, which can easily damage the catalytic converter; 4. Loosening of the vehicle's braking system, increasing the risk of accidents; 5. Increased exhaust emissions from the engine cylinders. Idle speed refers to the engine running without load, overcoming internal friction resistance without delivering power, maintaining the minimum stable operating speed. The idle speed is adjusted by altering the throttle opening and idle fuel supply.

How to Check Whether It's China 5 or China 6?

To check whether it's China 5 or China 6, you can use the following methods: 1. Vehicle manufacturing certificate; 2. Vehicle environmental protection standard list; 3. Check the vehicle conformity certificate. The difference between China 5 and China 6 lies in the carbon monoxide emission: China 5 emission is 1000mg; China 6 emission is 700mg. China 5 stands for the National Fifth Stage Emission Standard for Motor Vehicle Pollutants, while China 6 stands for the National Sixth Stage Emission Standard for Motor Vehicle Pollutants. Both China 5 and China 6 regulate the content of harmful gases emitted from vehicle exhaust, including carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, nitrogen oxides, particulate matter, and soot.

Where are the accelerator and clutch located in a car?

The accelerator is on the right, the clutch is on the left, and the brake is located in the middle. The accelerator controls the throttle opening to adjust the injection speed of the air-fuel mixture. It is operated by the throttle lever in the cockpit, transmitted through components such as pull rods, rocker arms, torque tubes, cables, pulleys, and sector wheels to the carburetor or fuel regulator on the engine. The clutch is secured to the rear plane of the flywheel with screws, and its output shaft is the input shaft of the transmission. The driver can press or release the clutch pedal as needed to temporarily disconnect or gradually engage the engine with the transmission, thereby cutting off or transmitting the engine's power to the transmission.

What Does the Wrench Indicator Light on a Car Mean?

When the wrench indicator light appears on a car, it is a reminder for maintenance. This refers to the preventive work of regularly inspecting, cleaning, replenishing, lubricating, adjusting, or replacing certain parts of the car, also known as vehicle maintenance. The method to eliminate the wrench indicator light is: 1. Turn the key to the power-on position; 2. Press and hold the button on the dashboard for about 10 to 15 seconds, and the wrench symbol will disappear. Car maintenance includes: 1. Regularly checking if the antifreeze, windshield washer fluid, and brake fluid are sufficient; 2. Performing four-wheel alignment periodically; 3. Cleaning the car promptly; 4. Checking and replacing the engine oil in a timely manner.
