Does parking on uneven ground have any impact?

Parking on uneven ground does have impacts on the vehicle, including: 1. The tires and suspension on the lower side will bear more force, affecting the chassis and suspension; 2. The suspension system on the higher side will experience uneven force distribution, which may impair shock absorption performance over time; 3. The chassis may deform due to prolonged uneven force distribution. Improper parking can also cause doors to not close tightly or fit poorly, as extended parking on uneven surfaces leads to unbalanced force distribution, excessive wheel height differences, and potential frame deformation or twisting. Therefore, it is advisable to choose flat surfaces for parking whenever possible.
Parking on uneven ground does have negative effects. I have a 10-year-old car that I often park on the sloped driveway in front of my house, and I can feel the suspension system bearing uneven pressure. Over time, the springs and shock absorbers wear out noticeably faster. Tires also get deformed, especially since the front and rear wheels bear different weights, causing uneven tread wear - I've spent much more on tire replacements. As for the chassis support, body twisting may lead to difficulty opening doors or improper sealing. In terms of safety, once the road is wet or the slope is steep, the car is prone to sliding, especially when parking on an incline without engaging the handbrake - which is very dangerous. I recommend trying to find flat parking spaces whenever possible, like in shopping malls or roadside parking spots near home. Short-term parking on uneven surfaces is manageable, but avoiding it long-term saves repair hassles and accident risks.
